Go Senior High

      Teachers are getting ready for a history in the making, we are preparing for the Philippines' opening of the Senior High School curriculum. DepEd together with the FSUU Team made this training to equip the teachers with their class as one of the first senior high school teachers.

One of Them

         I am now employed in a public school (Cantiasay National High School) but I want to share with you how  Northeastern Mindanao Colleges changed my perspective as a teacher. I always thought that teaching is all about book, blackboard, quizzes and the class record yet now I already know that teaching and being a teacher is more than that. 

         These kids were the students on my first advisory class. They call me "mommy" instead of "Ma'am" and for me, it is much better. You may be wondering why do they end up calling me that... Most of my students don't have a mother (some abandoned them, some were working overseas), most of them long for the love and an image of a mother and they said that they saw and feel that motherly love from me.
